You know the old saying about money growing on trees? Many people believe it does, because paper is made from trees. But, did you know that paper money is not really paper at all? This small bush is grown from a seed and matures in around 100 days. It needs a temperature of 680 to germinate and because of this grows best in warm climate with proper irrigation. After doing the research paper money does grow on trees. Paper money is a form of cotton which is formulated from a small bush. Bushes grow on trees. So there we have it for those of you who were wondering the answer is "Yes" money does grow on trees.

ReplyDeletehaha your right! money does grow on trees because its paper! every time i would ask my parents for something they would always say do u think money grows on trees? well i would say yes because its paper but im not going to take any risk for saying that so i would just say no.

ReplyDeleteI didn't know money was acually made of cotton and linen instead of paper. Did you know that only the governnment can order the "paper" for money? I guess thats why money is so hard to fake. The easiest way to tell if a dollar bill is fake is by the feel of it. Money also has other security features such as the black band on the side of the dollar if you hold it in light. I find that kind of cool.
