The Last Book Of The Universe

This blog post will be a summary of the book "The Last Book Of The Universe." This book is about the world 1,000 years in the future. In this world, nobody reads, they invented this thing called mind probes and different groups rule the latch. Mind probes let you experience whatever you want to. The main characters of this book are Spaz, Ryter, and Billy Bizmo. Along the way Spaz and Ryter meet different latches, people and different things about those latches. These people who later become their friends help them in many situations.

I really like this book and I hope they make a sequel one day. I like this book because of it's setting, situations and the things they find out. In this book it is easy to make predictions. I would recommend this book to kids. 

I would recommend it because in these problems, they make you want to read more about the book. The book is 223 pages long, but it was worth it.  

Milestone Place

                 Deep down in a wonderful place, their is a school called Herbert Hoover Middle School. This is the best school on earth. It is the best school on earth because the teachers are great and it's like learning at home.

                 The best thing about it is how changing classes work. All the classes are right next to eachother. It makes life more easier to follow. I'm glad I'm going to this school next year. Why you may ask, well my reason is because it makes learning fun and useful.

                  Hoover also has a variety of thing to choose from such what to eat for lunch, where to sit at lunch or at lunch. Here at school the classes start at 8:30 and ends at 3:00. I will never forget Herbert Hoover Middle School.              

Does money come from trees?

Does money come from trees? I actually thought it did. Here is my reason why I thought it came from trees. Money is made from paper which is recycled from trees.  I did some research and it said as follows:

How does cotton grow

This small bush is grown from a seed and matures in around 100 days. It needs a temperature of 680 to germinate and because of this grows best in warm climate with proper irrigation. After doing the research paper money does grow on trees.  Paper money is a form of cotton which is formulated from a small bush. Bushes grow on trees. So there we have it for those of you who were wondering the answer is "Yes" money does grow on trees.

HALLOWEEN!

Halloween is right around the corner! This is my favorite holiday. Dressing up in costumes is pretty cool. Doing this allows people to become whoever they want to be. This is the type of excitement I enjoy. Looking at other people's costumes reminds me of different characters or impersonations that sometimes may look real.

Michael Jackson was an excellent creator of thrilling costumes. The above costumes can make you wonder who you can really become. Besides dressing up, I love the "Trick-Or-Treating" aspect of halloween. My friends and I are ready to get together to start "Trick-Or-Treating." Who would you like to be for halloween?

Fall

Fall is coming! Fall is one of my favorite seasons. One reason it's my favorite is because it has many of my favorite holidays. The holidays I am referring to are Thanksgiving, Halloween and  Columbus Day. These holidays make fall great. This is because on Thanksgiving my family is reunited. Halloween allows me to get free candy. Columbus Day is when my parents got married.  Also what makes it great is the difference in activities. Of all above, the one I like most is going "Trick-or-Treating" with my friends. Halloween in my opinion is the best holiday ever.

Basketball

Hello,My name is Cecil and I will be talking about my favorite sport basketball.Basketball is my favorite sport because of how you play it,the practice,and for the fun of it.I've played it since i was 7 years old and that's how long I liked it.To me basketball is an important sport.

One of my favorite teams is the Los Angeles Lakers.I love the Lakes because of their players and their skill.My favorite player is Kobe Bryant.I think he is the best one one their team.Without Kobe i think the Lakers would fall apart.The Lakers was my community teams name.I played for two years.My other teams name the second year was called the Celtics.On both teams we were undeafeted.Then when I moved I stoped playing for the community.I stoped playing for the community because if I didn't, I would not be able to make it to practices and other stuff.Thanks for taking the time to read about me.
